1. New Feature: Data Manager - Combine

Easily merge multiple datasets into one continuous timeline — even if acquisition was paused for sample handling, drug treatment, or media change. The Combine function preserves all imaging modalities and metadata, enabling integrated 4D analysis without data gaps.

You can now:

  • Reconstruct long-term biological processes from periodic imaging sessions.

  • Compare cellular morphology before and after drug treatment.

  • Monitor cell recovery after environmental changes.

2. Visualization Improvements

You’ll notice faster rendering, smoother navigation, and greater stability when working with large datasets in TomoAnalysis 2.3.

The update also introduces new scientific colormaps (Viridis, Cividis, Plasma, and others) for perceptually uniform visualization, along with a refined 3D rendering engine that provides a more intuitive representation of intensity and structure.
