Pipeline: (2D) Single-Cell
This pipeline segments and analyzes individual cells from 2D projections using a rule-based algorithm. It offers faster processing than 3D analysis while maintaining accurate quantification of key morphological parameters, particularly cell area.
Optimized for low-confluency images, it performs best when cells are well-separated, enabling reliable identification and measurement without overlap. The pipeline is suitable for high-throughput analysis of adherent cell morphology, size variation, and shape dynamics.
Output: Segmented cell masks, Labeled individual cells, Per-cell, total, and average morphological measurements.
