Tomocube, a pioneering force in holotomography and label-free live cell imaging solutions, proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Bruno Combettes as its new Sales Director for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.

Combettes brings over two decades of experience in the microscopy industry, having worked with renowned companies such as Nikon, Hamamatsu Photonics, and most recently, Oxford Instruments Andor. His extensive technical expertise and strategic vision make this appointment a significant step in strengthening Tomocube's presence in the EMEA market.

"I've always sought new challenges, and when I was introduced to the latest HT-X1 model in 2022, I immediately recognized its extraordinary potential," says Combettes, reflecting on his decision to join Tomocube. His career path has been marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence and a passion for embracing fresh opportunities. After a successful 13 years at Andor, he was excited to step out of his comfort zone.

In a recent interview during his first visit to the headquarters, Combettes highlighted Tomocube's cutting-edge technology in label-free live cell imaging and its strong market position as key advantages. He also emphasized that while technical superiority is essential, the quality of service is equally crucial.

“Tomocube’s current approach in customer relationship management offers a distinct advantage. Customers appreciate being able to interact directly with the company for personalized support and regular follow-ups. They feel valued and recognized as individuals rather than just numbers,” he explains. This personal touch combined with the company's innovative spirit and frequent new product releases, sets the stage for Tomocube's accelerated growth trajectory and long-term success in the industry.

Combettes’ strategy for expanding Tomocube's footprint in the EMEA region encompasses both short-term and long-term goals. In the short term, the plan is to focus on “market education,” aimed at informing the market about the functionalities and benefits of Tomocube’s products, including the HT-X1™ series and TomoAnalysis™ software. Another key component of the strategy involves expanding headcounts and enhancing service capabilities to ensure adequate support and continuously improve customer experience.

In the long term, the strategy emphasizes establishing a deeper market presence and fostering sustained demand for Tomocube's systems. He noted that the unique nature of the European market demands more effort in building strong, trust-based relationships with customers. This goal will be met through an outstanding sales team and a highly effective distribution network. Therefore, one of his immediate priorities is to enhance the distribution network's efficiency and expand its reach, ensuring Tomocube's solutions are timely and readily accessible to researchers across the region.

Under his leadership, Tomocube aims to significantly increase its market share in the EMEA region. Despite the potential for increased competition in the live cell and organoid imaging market, he is confident in Tomocube's ability to maintain its edge through innovation and early market entry. "This technique is the future of microscopy, and Tomocube is well-positioned to be a key player," he asserted.

Sungho Ko, Chief Operating Officer at Tomocube, also expressed his enthusiasm: "I am so excited to welcome Bruno into our team. His expertise in sales process improvement and international distribution network management will drive the company's growth and success in the coming years."
