Position: Optical Engineer (Development of Holotomography for 3D Imaging)
Work condition: Full-time, Office-based
Location: Yuseong-gu, Daejeon

As an Optical Engineer, you will research and develop Holotomography, the core technology behind Tomocube’s imaging solutions. The technology you develop may be applied to Tomocube products used in research laboratories and industrial sites around the world. Responsibilities
• Develop and improve 3D image reconstruction algorithms
• Design and simulate optical systems
• Model light propagation and correct optical aberrations
• Improve image quality, including noise reduction and resolution enhancement
• Analyze measurement data and validate algorithm performance

Required Qualifications
• Graduate degree or equivalent experience in optics, physics, computational imaging, signal processing, or a related field
• Experience developing algorithms using MATLAB
※ Candidates with a bachelor’s degree are also welcome to apply if they have relevant experience and capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications
• Eligibility for transfer or new assignment as an alternative military service researcher
• Ability to communicate in English
• Experience developing image processing algorithms using CUDA and parallel computing
• Research experience in optical imaging, such as QPI, ODT, OCT, Ptychography, IDT, or Holography
