Case Study: Holotomography Reveals Insights into Chemotherapy Response of Heterogeneous Breast Cancer Patient Derived Tumoroids
Patient-derived organoids are valuable tools for precision oncology, but conventional endpoint assays cannot capture real-time drug response dynamics or the influence of stromal composition. This case study integrates Okomera's microfluidic organoid platform with Tomocube HT-X1™ Plus to enable label-free, time-lapse monitoring of breast cancer biopsy-derived organoids during chemotherapy treatment. HT's refractive index-based measurements provide a window into tumor-stroma heterogeneity and drug sensitivity without requiring additional staining.
